Instagram filters have always been associated with superficial purposes. In 2019, we turned them into a media for free speech.

A filter to keep to keep your beliefs unfiltered.

In Argentina, abortion was legalised in 2020. Before that, people on the streets, in the Congress and the media showed their support to this law using a green scarf. Other countries in the region replicated this idea and created their own designs.

But the symbol that was intended to bring people together, became a target for violence and censorship. On International Day for Women’s Health, we launched a filter on Instagram with all the scarfs. This way, women across the continent could show their support anywhere, even where it wasn’t allowed.
